Note: this session will be in a mix of English and Dutch, to facilitate international students and staff of the Hanze Applied University to participate. Some of the games will be in Dutch, to be translated on the spot

Seminar games for development of teams and business

Join our first northern seminar on games that focus on improving the team and organisation (business). We will start with a key note by Bas Altenburg of 8D Games, in which he will offer their perspective on how they have seen the serious games market change in the last 10 years and what future trends they see (in use of board games and how AI plays a role). Then we will have 2 play sessions. You can choose between multiple games to play and discuss. Ranging from a game that improve innovation in an organisation (health care), by Jurgen Bos. How to discuss the big topic of succession of a business (bedrijfsopvolging), 8D Games. A game on how employees can become more aware of innovation processes, by Eugene Shenderov. A game on discussing needs -Smileys- that are hard to verbalise, by Jaap de Goede. And more…! Of course we will make sure there is also enough time to network with each other.

Around We will wrap up with some snacks and drinks, sponsored by Creative Media & Game Technologies of the Hanze, where making serious games is also part of the programme. Members of SAGANET can then join for dinner in Groningen center (small membership fee, if you want to join for that as well!).
