For the wargamers out there, this April sports the second British-American-Global Online edition of Connections! You can still register for an extremely modest fee of $5, covering IT expenses, for a week of events.

Connections Online is a proud part of the Connections family with our online-only conference. This year’s theme is Developing Wargame Practitioners.
Panels & presentations will be livestreamed through YouTube, with additional interaction through a dedicated Discord server for registered attendees.
Connections is an international series of conferences dedicated to advancing and preserving the art, science, and application of wargaming (to include gaming of business and non-war topics) by bringing together wargaming professionals, academics, and hobbyists interested in the theory and practice of wargaming for analysis, education, and training — and fun, too.
All core Connections Online events will take place from 19-21 April during core hours of 10am to 4pm EDT(UTC -4) – what conference director Chris Weuve calls “Los Angeles to London” hours. All core events will be recorded and available for future viewing.
A modest registration fee of $5 will be charged to partially cover our IT expenses. Live streams will be limited to registered participants, but the recordings will be open to all after the conference is complete. Registration cost includes:
- All presentations, panels, and keynotes (unlimited seats for participation), including ability to ask questions / interact with the speakers during their presentations
- Access to the Connections Online Discord server
- Ability to register for any extended conference events, on a first-come, first-served basis for limited-seat events
We have a robust schedule of extended events running from 18-24 April. These events include additional panels & presentations from industry & academia, as well as game sessions, and technology bootcamps for distributed wargaming tools.
There are 2 ‘steps’ to registration for the conference. Purchasing a badge gets you access to the conference Discord server, and the ability to add tickets for individual events. The tickets cover your individual events. Core events are available to every badge holder, but some extended events have limited capacity, and for those, you must have a ticket.
Please note that unlike last year, all panels, presentations, and other events are limited to registered attendees of the conference. Core event videos will be made public after the completion of Connections Online 2022
