DESCRIPTION:\n\nALA Conference 2026 (15th edition) is an event organized by
  the Serious Games Society in collaboration with the University of L’
 Aquila. This community represents a significant blend of industrial and ac
 ademic professionals committed to the study\, development\, and deployment
  of serious games as useful and effective tools to support better teaching
 \, learning\, training\, and assessment. The call for papers and serious g
 ames is open!\n\n\n\nGames and Learning Alliance Conference (GALA Conf)\nG
 ALA Conf is an yearly conference\, aimed at providing an international fo
 rum for the dissemination and exchange of scientific information on theore
 tical\, technical\, and applied areas of serious games. These objectives a
 re accomplished through different means: presentation sessions\, keynote s
 peeches\, a poster session\, an exhibition\, and a game competition. GALA 
 Conf proceedings are regularly published on  Springer Lecture Notes on C
 omputer Science (LNCS)\, indexed by Scopus.GALA Conf is organized every ye
 ar by the SGS in collaboration with a local scientific team. GALA Conf fea
 tures a well established Program Committee\, involving leading-edge academ
 ic and industrial researchers and practitioners.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGALA Conf 
 Competition\nEvery year\, the GALA conf hosts an international competition
  that aims to celebrate the best digital games for learning. Serious Game
 s can be submitted in several categories: Academic\, Business and Student
 . The awards are based on an analysis of the games by a panel of Serious G
 ames experts. Each year\, a special theme can be given but the Serious Ga
 mes do not need to be in this theme.\n\n\n\n
