The objective of GALA Conf is to provide an international forum for the dissemination and exchange of scientific information on theoretical, technical, and applied areas of serious games. These objectives are accomplished through different means: presentation sessions, keynote speeches, a poster session, an exhibition, and a game competition.
GALA Conference 2023 (12th edition) is an event organized by the Serious Games Society in collaboration with Technological University Dublin (Faculty of Computer Science and Digital Media). The Serious Games Society is building an international scientific community for shaping future research in the field. This community represents a significant blend of industrial and academic professionals committed to the study, development, and deployment of serious games as useful and effective tools to support better teaching, learning, training, and assessment.
The GALA Conference 2023 Proceedings will be published on Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS, indexed by Scopus), and the best papers in a special issue of the International Journal of Serious Games, indexed by ESCI, WoS, and Scopus, like previous years.
