DESCRIPTION:The objective of GALA Conf is to provide an international forum
  for the dissemination and exchange of scientific information on theoretic
 al\, technical\, and applied areas of serious games. These objectives are 
 accomplished through different means: presentation sessions\, keynote spee
 ches\, a poster session\, an exhibition\, and a game competition.\n\nGALA 
 Conference 2023 (12th edition) is an event organized by the Serious Games
  Society in collaboration with Technological University Dublin (Faculty 
 of Computer Science and Digital Media). The Serious Games Society is build
 ing an international scientific community for shaping future research in t
 he field. This community represents a significant blend of industrial and 
 academic professionals committed to the study\, development\, and deployme
 nt of serious games as useful and effective tools to support better teachi
 ng\, learning\, training\, and assessment.\nThe GALA Conference 2023 Proce
 edings will be published on Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (L
 NCS\, indexed by Scopus)\, and the best papers in a special issue of the
  International Journal of Serious Games\, indexed by ESCI\, WoS\, and Sc
