Friday 27 September we held our first event in the north: an applied gaming coaching game seminar in Groningen at the Hanze UAS – Creative Media & Game Technologies and Digital Society Hub. We held it in English, hence a short report in that language.

Multiple game experiences as interventions by Jurgen (J.A.) Bos, Eugene Shenderov and Jaap de Goede and 8D Games were demonstrated and discussed. They ranged from stimulating innovation in health care teams, experience the depencies of different departments in a big coorperation, experience group/family dynamics interplay of individual wishes and group decisions, and how families are facilitated in talking about business succession.

Besides that a key note from Bas Altenburg of 8D was given on what trends they see in the business and how it has influenced their approach and how AI is a factor. The interaction was boosted by the energizer Douwe Terluin demonstrated, a playful game which is used with groups up to 80 students in their study to kickstart such a big team collaboration.

We had a short overview of what happens at the DSH and participants mingled and got acquianted with each other.
